+# Oversized File Inventory and Split Plan
+
+Scope: source files (`.ts`, `.tsx`, `.js`, `.jsx`) with more than 400 lines. Binary assets, lockfiles, and generated artifacts are excluded because they are not refactor targets. Files under 300 lines are out of scope and will not be split unless a clear modularization need emerges later.
+
+Method: `rg --files` + line count as of 2026-01-25.
+
+Example split pattern: a 900-line screen becomes a screen container (`app/` route or `features/<feature>/<Screen>.tsx`) plus UI subcomponents (`features/<feature>/components`), hooks (`features/<feature>/hooks`), services (`features/<feature>/services`), and shared helpers (`utils`).
